  • How to Switch My Listing to Hauseit

    Hi!

I currently have my apartment listed with a broker, it’s been on the market for over 2 months now. I was wondering if I The listing agreement was ended/cancelled would I be able to switch it over to use Hauseit services? If so, it would be beneficial to set up a call to talk about options.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Hi Steve, if you're able to get written confirmation of early cancellation (presumably this is necessary since most listing agreements are 180 days/6 months) from your current listing broker, then you would totally be able to re-list with one of our partner brokers.

One thing to watch out for, many brokers will have a protected buyers clause in their listing agreements which enables them to earn commission on multiple buyers who have seen the apartment through them, for a certain time period after contract expiration/cancellation. These buyer names are typically required to be emailed to you within a certain number of days after expiration/cancellation (i.e. up to 6 names must be sent to owner within 3 days of cancellation/expiration of the listing agreement).

In terms of options, you can find out more about both our full service and self service listing options on our highly detailed product pages:

    1% for Full Service: https://www.hauseit.com/agent-managed-listing/

    Agent Assisted FSBO: https://www.hauseit.com/agent-assisted-fsbo/

Please note that we are unable to offer phone support or explanatory calls at the moment for the Agent Assisted FSBO service, which is really meant for owners who are independent and open to doing it themselves. If you feel like you need a greater level of support, we recommend checking out our very affordable 1% for Full Service option.

    Thank you!
