Required Lease Disclosure Forms for NYC Residential Landlords

Residential landlords in NYC are required to include several mandatory disclosure forms when presenting tenants with a lease.

These required disclosure forms pertain to lead-based paint, window guards, sprinkler systems, bedbug infestation history, flood history, indoor allergen hazards, gas leaks, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms and reasonable accommodations for disabilities.

NYC landlords are also required to present tenants with an annual lead paint and window guard notice each year between January 1 and January 15. Tenants must complete and return the form before February 15. The 2024 version of this form is accessible here.
